"I will be benefiting if a Bridge is
build between Male-Hulhumale but i choose to vote ferry system. I don't want
happiness that come from sucking my brothers and sisters who live all around
the Maldives."
The islanders living a difficult
life for their basic needs. Travel to the atoll hospital and banks is a
disaster to them, some are so isolated they don’t have proper boats to travel
for the places. moreover for education and health care people of rural areas
send their children to atoll education centre or somewhere out, where the
parents and the children meet once in a year because of lack of proper
transport facilities. For this instance bridge is not a necessary where proper
ferry schedule is maintained. The aid is better to be provided to those rural
areas to bring the people together and for better facilities without forcing
them to move the congested central capital 10/27/2014 12:29 PM
To stop male been overpopulated and
to minimize social issues 10/27/2014

All Reasons
Because transportation is our basic
need. and hiring launch and boats r danm expensive, hulhumale'ah 5 rufiyaa in
dhevey so no need of a bridge 10/27/2014 7:11 PM
Number two is the sustainable way to
go about it 10/27/2014 6:28 PM

Almost 60-70% of the population
lives in 200 small islands n they don't have transport system.the main reason m
against the bridge is majority of the population don't get basic humanitarian
services like fresh water, severage system, food ,etc etc 10/27/2014 6:17 PM

We don't need a bridge here. Ferry
system to the whole public is what we need 10/27/2014 5:28 PM
People from Island like to visit
capital Male' and take pictures to show their families, Male-Hulhumale bridge
will be a great opportunity for them to take colorful photos
10/27/2014 5:26 PM
Its not fair to develop only male'
area. We are also maldivians, not only male' region is to be developed. 10/27/2014

1. The Constitution guarantees the
basic right to transport. 2. Maldives Economic boom can only be achieved when
affordable transport is available to all. 10/27/2014 5:17 PM
Why they have to do everything to
male not to other islands 10/27/2014 5:02 PM
Because equalitiy for all peoples
and transpotations system is more important than bridge bcos most of inhabited
citizens they spend on their own transportations more than male citizens 10/27/2014
4:50 PM
Male' hulhumale bridge benefits
one-third of the population. Ferry system benefits two thirds - and the poor at
that. Its not rocket science. 10/27/2014 4:19 PM
Integrated transport network will
benefit more towards guest house and other economic activities in atoll 10/27/2014
4:19 PM
For better Economy 10/27/2014 3:28 PM
Much more important for the locals 10/27/2014

Better think of the country as a
whole rather than just the capital and its residents. That is discrimination. 10/27/2014

It says strengthen transport system
of the Maldives. So it includes all the inhabited islands of this god damned
country. 10/27/2014 2:26 PM
Majority of the Maldivians lives in
the islands other than Male''. they are seperated from Male goverment. they did
not have any basic services like transporation, health and education 10/27/2014
2:25 PM
Having a good transport in islands
will benefit the whole nation as opposed to the bridge which will only benefit
the people living near Male'. 10/27/2014 2:18 PM
everyone deserves living a life 10/27/2014

we need to spend more than 600 rufiyaa. 10/27/2014

have development 10/27/2014 1:43 PM
It will affect the majority of the
population. 10/27/2014 12:58 PM
Because if ferry system is
established 2/3 of citizens (Living in the Islands) will get uncountable
benefits. 10/27/2014 12:54 PM
